About Cindy
Cindy Rhoday-Murphy, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist, author, and Alpha-Gal educator based in Martinsville, Virginia. She is the founder of SW VA Acupuncture, LLC and has spent more than a decade helping individuals navigate complex and often misunderstood health concerns through compassionate, patient-centered care rooted in Chinese Medicine.

My Approach To Care
I believe healthcare should look beyond symptom lists alone. Every individual is unique, and care should be guided by clinical assessment, pattern recognition, and the overall well-being of the person. My goal is to help patients feel heard, informed, and supported as they navigate their health journey.

After years of listening to individuals living with Alpha-Gal Syndrome, I recognized a need for education, understanding, and practical guidance. The Alpha-Gal Survival Guide 3rd Edition was written to help people make sense of a complex and often misunderstood condition and to remind them that they are not alone.

Alpha-Gal Education & Advocacy
I am passionate about increasing awareness and education surrounding Alpha-Gal Syndrome and helping individuals better understand this complex condition. Through patient education, community outreach, speaking opportunities, and writing, I hope to help others feel more informed and empowered.
